    Description

    An ORIGINAL FROG MECHANISM for a Winchester No. W4 smoothing plane or No. W5 jack plane by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, New Haven, Connecticut. The "W" series of Winchester planes were produced by Stanley and they utilized the early "Bedrock" configuration. Other than the lateral adjustment lever, this frog is identical to frogs for Stanley's early "Bedrock" series. This example is in top condition and could be put directly to use.
